Intel® Media SDK

Intel Media SDK is a software development package that exposes the media acceleration capabilities of Intel platforms for consumer and professional-grade media applications, including decoding, encoding, video and photo processing, as well as capabilities for capturing screen content.

Developers using the Media SDK don’t have to write separate code paths to tap into platform-specific hardware acceleration to improve video performance. The Media SDK features a single API that streamlines workflow and exploits hardware acceleration capabilities within the Intel CPU and graphics processor.
