Purpose of DeciTime This application is only fun, although there are some benefits from calculating time with the Decimal system instead of the 24/60/60 system we are all used to.BackgroundOne day consists of 24 hours of 60 minutes, each of 60 seconds. This calculates to 86.400 seconds a day.Why not count this way: One day is 10 decimal hours with 100 decimal minutes, each of 100 decimal seconds. This would sum up to 100.000 decimal seconds a day. So 1 decimal second equals exactly 0.864 second and the decimal time will tick a Little bit quicker than the normal time.To name these decimal things Sergey Zaytsev proposed to call it Dours, Dinutes and Deconds, and so do I with his kind permission.
